Bryce is without doubt one of the most beautiful and most surreal parks in the southwest of the USA. The area was settled by Mormon pioneers in the 1850s and was named after Ebenezer Bryce.
From Sunset Point you have an amazing view over the valley with hoodoos. These hoodoos are orange-red limestone and sandstone rock pillars/posts which are formed because of the combined powers of freeze and thaw.
