Galapagos - Isabela - Marine iguana (Ecuador & Galápagos)
The Galapagos islands are famous for their unique marine iguanas (amblyrhynchus cristatus) which can be found in large numbers at beaches and rocks. Marine iguanas endemic to the Galapagos Islands and they live only from seaweed and therefore they are very dependent on the currents around the islands and the annual El Niño.
