A turquoise-browed motmot (Eumomota superciliosa) at Tarcoles river near Carara national park in Costa Rica. This motmot is approximately 34 cm long and weighs about 65 grams. It has a mostly green-blue-orange body and it has a long tail and the tips of the tail feathers are shaped like rackets. The motmots make their nest in the river banks.
