Dominical - Hacienda Baru - Swainson’s toucan (Costa Rica)
The chestnut-mandibled toucans or Swainson’s toucan (ramphastos ambiguus swainsonii) is a common toucan in Costa Rica and they are resident breeders in moist lowland forest. The male is 56 cm long, while the smaller female is typically 52 cm long.
