Kharkhorin - Erdene Zuu (Mongolia)

Today there are only three temples that have retained their former glory. The monastery is surrounded by beautiful white walls with 108 stupas, which is a sacred number in Buddhism. The monastery is also on the UNESCO World Heritage List because it is the oldest monastery in the country.
