Valparai - Tea fields (India south)
Valparai is definitly one of the most beautiful 'hill stations' in south India. It is not touristic and the landscapes with rolling tea fields are stunning. In 1859 the first commercial tea plantions were started in southern India by the British. India is the second largest producer of tea in the world after China.
