We spend 3 days in Hampi, a fantastic place in Karnataka with great landscapes and many stunning temples and shrines. The ruins at Hampi, which was the capital city of the Vijayanagara empire, are listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Hampi was one of the richest and largest cities in the world from the 13th to 17th century. The first evening we went to the Hemakuda hill. There are some small temples, impressive boulders and a nice view at the Virupaksha temple.
