Hageland by night - Castle of Horst In the 13th century the knights of Horst built a large farmstead and in the 15th century knight Pynnock built the first fortified water castle. Over the centuries the castle of Horst (Sint-Pieters-Rode, Holsbeek) was expanded but also partially destroyed. In the 17th century the stables for the carriages were built.
