Stirling Castle (Schotland)

Boven op een grote vulkanische rots in het stadje Stirling ligt het imposante Stirling Castle. Hier versloeg William Wallace in 1297 het Engelse leger. Hij gaf daarmee de Schotten het idee een afzonderlijke natie te zijn.
