The Africa fish eagle is a strong bird of prey that lives in pairs at the water's edge of freshwater lakes and rivers. The wingspan is approximately 2m. They mainly pick up fish from just below the surface of the water. These are usually small fish, but even fish weighing 4kg are not safe for these fish eagles.
