Lake Naivasha - Hippo (Kenya)

Lake Naivasha is known for its large population of hippos. During the day, these impressive animals, which can weigh up to 3,000 kg, usually stay in the water. We could get quite close with a boat. In the evening they come out of the water to graze and in the late afternoon we were already able to see this up close at our campsite.
