Solio - Southern white rhinos (Kenya)

Solio Game Reserve is a private park, little known, little visited, but beautiful and truly wild with very large numbers of southern white rhinos. We were able to spot almost a hundred rhinos in Solio. In the 1970s and 1980s, rhinos were threatened with extinction due to poaching, but they are now better protected and their numbers are increasing again.
