Cordoba - Mezquita (Andalusia)
The Mezquita is the mosque and cathedral of Cordoba. The mosque was built in 784 by Abderraman I. Al-Hakam II enlarged the building in 961. In 1532 Charles V approved the convertion of the mosque into a cathedral.
