Photos Cappadocia & Instanbul (Turkey)
In May 2011 I went to Turkey with a group of friends. We hiked for one week in Cappadocia in the region of Göreme, Mustafapasa, Ortahisar, Uçhisar, Zemi, Zelve, ... with fruit trees en vineyards, spectacular rock formations, wonderful valleys, fairy chimneys and a lot of cave houses and Byzantine churches. Each day we stayed in another village.
After the hike we flew to the bustling Istanbul and in 3 days we visited the impressive mosques, beautiful palaces, museums and markets. We also made a small boat trip on the Bosporus river.
