Aquaduct - Muro das Nove Janelas The aqueduct 'Muro das Nove Janelas' (wall of the nine windows) is situated at a height of 760meter near Caldeira das Sete Cidades on the western coast of Sao Miguel. This Muro is an ancient aqueduct that transported water to the capital Ponta Delgada. The aqueduct is over 100 years old, not used anymore but still intact. The weather at the Azores is very changeable. The islands are located far out in the Atlantic Ocean so rain showers can happen every moment of the day. The temperatures varies between 12 to 26 °C.
