Bwindi - Silverback - Safari The Nkuringo family has 2 silverbacks; the old dominant Nkuringo and the younger Safari. Both are slightly hidden in the bushwood, but we finally get to see Safari very well. Mountain gorillas live in stable, cohesive family groups, led by a dominant silverback male. <br /> <br /> After an hour we have to leave the Nkuringo family. The Nkuringo family has 2 silverbacks; the old dominant Nkuringo and the younger Safari. Both are slightly hidden in the bushwood, but we finally get to see Safari very well. Mountain gorillas live in stable, cohesive family groups, led by a dominant silverback male.

After an hour we have to leave the Nkuringo family. Everyone is impressed with these 'gentle giants' and this was undoubtedly the highlight of our trip through Uganda.
