Agra - Agra fort (India)
The Agra fort is also located on the river Yamuna and also part of the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is a fortress built by Mogul emperor Akbar and later by his grandson Shah Jahan in 1565. This impressive fortress of red sandstone is surrounded by a 2.5 km long fortification wall.
