Big Tsingy - Decken's sifaka (Madagascar)

Tsingy de Bemaraha in western Madagascar is a wonderful nature reserve with unique needle-shaped limestone formations called Tsingy. The dry deciduous forests between the rock formations are also home for many endemic animals. One of them is the Von der Decken's sifaka, more commonly called Decken's sifaka (Propithecus deckenii). It is a diurnal lemur with a white fur and a face that is entirely black.
