Ifaty - Reniala - Sickle-billed vanga (Madagascar)

During our last morning in southern Madagascar we visited the Reniala Private Reserve in Ifaty. The reserve is located less than 1km from the Mozambique Channel. It shelters an amazing and unique ecosystem which can only be found in the southern Madagascar: the spiny forest. This spiny forest has many unique endemic plants and very old baobabs and it is a paradise for bird lovers. We spotted this sickle-billed vanga (Falculea palliata).
