Photos Slovenia
In June 2019 we went by car for a family vacation to the beautiful and varied Slovenia. First we visited one of the most beautiful cities in Austria; Salzburg. Afterwards we drove to the south of Slovenia and visited the karst formations of Rakov Škocjan and the unique lake of Cerknica. I went to the forests of Notranjska to photograph wild brown bears.
After this we went to the Adriatic coast and visited the impressive caves of Postojna and Škocjan and the fascinating castle of Predjama. We stayed in the picturesque coastal town of Piran for a few days.
Finally we went to the Julian Alps with the beautiful lakes of Bled and Bohinj and we went hiking several times in the mountains of Triglav NP. Near Kamnik we went to the old shepherd's huts in the mountains of Velika Planina and we also visited the capital city Ljubliana.
